KAPOL SPORTS GROUP – 2020-21 - RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Only players part of the team which have a match scheduled on a particular day will be allowed to enter the ground
2. Wearing white t-shirt and white trouser with KSG logo is compulsory for 40 overs tournament
3. Timing Reporting Time 9.00 am Toss time anytime between 9.30 am to 9.45 am Match Timing: 10 am to 12.45 pm & 1.15 pm to 4 pm
4. Players who are present at the ground at 9.30am will be allowed to Bat & Bowl. Players reaching the ground after 9.30am (even if it is before the toss) will be allowed to field only. No replacement allowed.
5. For all tournaments (40 overs and T20), once a player is allowed to enter the ground, the player cannot leave the ground before the end of the match. Any player leaving the ground during the match timings, even for few seconds, will not be allowed to re-enter the ground again on that day.
6. All matches will be played 40 overs a side.
7. Maximum of Six Overs allowed to be bowled by a particular bowler in a match.
8. For B group league matches, the top 3 batsmen have to be different in every match.
9. For mankad run out, in the true spirit of the game, bowler will have to give a prior warning to the non-striker
10. 2 points will be awarded for win.
11. 1 points will be awarded to each team in case of Tie.
12. If the match is abandoned or cancelled, due to any reason whatsoever, 1 point will be awarded to each team. There will be no replay or rematch under any circumstances.
13. In case of change of venue or date, teams will be informed and they will have to play according to the revised schedule.
14. In case one team is not ready to play, then 2 points will be awarded to the other team.
15. In case where two teams or more in the group have same points, then the team with highest net run rate will advance further to the next round.
16. In case of Tie in knockout/final match, super over will be applicable.
17. Umpire decision will be final. Any player found misbehaving against umpire decision will not be tolerated and action will be taken against such player.
18. Match referee is as per schedule given by KSG.
19. Minimum 8 players required per side to play a match.
20. Both captains have to exchange the team list at the time of toss. It will be captain’s responsibility to check the presence of the players of opposite side.
21. While all cricket equipments / cricket kit will be provided as usual by KSG, considering the present scenario, it is recommended and advisable that a player makes use of personal equipments (especially HELMET, BATTING GLOVES, etc.) if possible and if available
22. Lunch/food will be provided in food packets
23. Smoking / Chewing tobacco / gutka / chewing gum is strictly prohibited.
24. KSG management team has the discretion to make additions / modifications / deletions to the above listed rules at any point in time.
