KAPOL SPORTS GROUP – 2020-21 - RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Only players part of the team which have a match scheduled on a particular day will be allowed to enter the ground
2. Wearing white t-shirt and white trouser with KSG logo is compulsory for 40 overs tournament
3. Timing Reporting Time 9.00 am Toss time anytime between 9.30 am to 9.45 am Match Timing: 10 am to 12.45 pm & 1.15 pm to 4 pm
4. Players who are present at the ground at 9.30am will be allowed to Bat & Bowl. Players reaching the ground after 9.30am (even if it is before the toss) will be allowed to field only. No replacement allowed.
5. For all tournaments (40 overs and T20), once a player is allowed to enter the ground, the player cannot leave the ground before the end of the match. Any player leaving the ground during the match timings, even for few seconds, will not be allowed to re-enter the ground again on that day.
6. All matches will be played 40 overs a side.
7. Maximum of Six Overs allowed to be bowled by a particular bowler in a match.
8. For B group league matches, the top 3 batsmen have to be different in every match.
9. For mankad run out, in the true spirit of the game, bowler will have to give a prior warning to the non-striker
10. 2 points will be awarded for win.
11. 1 points will be awarded to each team in case of Tie.
12. If the match is abandoned or cancelled, due to any reason whatsoever, 1 point will be awarded to each team. There will be no replay or rematch under any circumstances.
13. In case of change of venue or date, teams will be informed and they will have to play according to the revised schedule.
14. In case one team is not ready to play, then 2 points will be awarded to the other team.
15. In case where two teams or more in the group have same points, then the team with highest net run rate will advance further to the next round.
16. In case of Tie in knockout/final match, super over will be applicable.
17. Umpire decision will be final. Any player found misbehaving against umpire decision will not be tolerated and action will be taken against such player.
18. Match referee is as per schedule given by KSG.
19. Minimum 8 players required per side to play a match.
20. Both captains have to exchange the team list at the time of toss. It will be captain’s responsibility to check the presence of the players of opposite side.
21. While all cricket equipments / cricket kit will be provided as usual by KSG, considering the present scenario, it is recommended and advisable that a player makes use of personal equipments (especially HELMET, BATTING GLOVES, etc.) if possible and if available
22. Lunch/food will be provided in food packets
23. Smoking / Chewing tobacco / gutka / chewing gum is strictly prohibited.
24. KSG management team has the discretion to make additions / modifications / deletions to the above listed rules at any point in time.

2. One bowler can bowl max of 4 overs in one match
3. 2 points will be awarded for a win
4. 1 point will be awarded to each team in case of a Tie.

7. In case one team is not ready to play, 2 points will be awarded to the other team

8. Only those players present at the time of the toss will be allowed to bat and bowl. Players coming after the toss can only field. No replacement will be allowed. No arguments will be entertained on this matter
9. Fifteen teams are divided in four groups. Each team will play three league matches with remaining teams of the same group. Top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the Quarter final.
10. If 2 or more teams in the group have same points, then the team with highest Net Run Rate will qualify for the Quarter final. (NRR is calculated as per cric-score calculations)
11. In case of a Tie in Quarter final, semi-final and Final, super over will be applicable
12. Umpire decision will be final. Any players misbehaving against umpire decision will not be tolerated & action will be taken against the player. If there is any match dispute on the ground, the match coordinator's decision will be final.
13. Each captain will show his players to the opposite captain at the time of toss. It will be captains’ responsibility to check presence of players playing in the opposite side.
14. Player has to play in his team’s outfit only. No one is allowed to play without the team outfit given by KSG
15. Substitute is only allowed for ground injuries in that particular match. A substitute cannot do wicket keeping, bowling or batting
16. In any circumstances, batsman will not be allowed a runner
17. KSG will only provide ground facility, balls, Glucon’D and drinking water during the match.
18. It is mandatory to have Man of the Match selected from the winning team. Two captains and umpires will decide the player.
19. At any given time, if the committee comes to know that a player is playing for a cast team and he is actually not of that case, team will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.
20. Minimum 9 players are required per side to play a match. Minimum 9 players are required on the ground at any given time of the match. Otherwise full points of the match will be awarded to the opposite team
21. One innings must get over in 1 hr. 30 mins.
22. Whenever a ball is lost during a match, only the umpires will have authority to select a ball for replacement. No player will have any say in this matter.
23. No-one will be allowed to chew tobacco or smoke cigarettes on the ground. No-one will be allowed to use mobile phones on the ground.

KSG-SUPER CUP T20 CUP RULES & REGULATIONS

1. All matches will be played 20 overs a side.
2. Two bowlers maximum 4 overs each remaining max. 3 overs each.
3. 2 points will be awarded for win.
4. 1 points will be awarded to each team in case of Tie.
5. If the match is abandon or cancelled due to any reason 1 point will be awarded to each team. There will be no replay or rematch in any circumstance.
6. In case of change of venue or date , teams have to play as per revised schedule.
7. In case one team is not ready to play then 2 points will be awarded to other team.

15. If any player leaves the ground before completing the match then he will not be allowed to play his next match .This is the captains responsibility to report to the match referee
16. Players of KSG compulsorily have to wear KSG out fit without that they all won’t be allowed to play
17. No one can chew tobacco or smoke cigarette on the ground if done by someone can be punished, Mobile can't be used on ground too

KSG-T40 CUP RULES & REGULATIONS

1. All matches will be played 40 overs a side.
2. Each bowlers maximum 7 overs
3. 2 points will be awarded for win.
4. 1 points will be awarded to each team in case of Tie.
5. If the match is abandon or cancelled due to any reason 1 point will be awarded to each team. There will be no replay or rematch in any circumstance.
6. In case of change of venue or date , teams have to play as per revised schedule.
7. In case one team is not ready to play then 2 points will be awarded to other team.

12. In case of Tie in Semi final & Final , super over will be applicable.
13. Umpire decision will be final. Any players misbehaving against umpire decision will not be tolerated & action will be taken against player. If any disputes on ground match coordinator is final decision.
14. Match referee is as per schedule given by KSG .
